Frequently Asked Questions

What happens during my first appointment?

Your first visit is all about you. No rush, no judgment. We will listen to your story, review your symptoms and history, and discuss your goals. We’ll talk about diagnosis and treatment options together. Expect 60-90mins. Backed by Science + Compassion - that’s how we start.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. We are credentialed with most major insurances in Arizona (please see “Insurance” section). If we’re not in-network with yours, we can provide a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement. Call 480-956-1949 and our team will verify your benefits before your visit.

Do you offer telehealth or only in-person?

Both! Telehealth appointments are available for most conditions if you’re in Arizona. In-person visits are in places near Peoria, AZ. You choose what feels safest and most comfortable for you.

How soon can I get an appointment?

Getting care with us is fast and simple - NO waiting list. We offer same-week appointments because mental health can’t wait. For urgent/crisis situations, call and tell us - we’ll prioritize you. See our Crisis Support page if you need help now.

Do you treat ADHD? Can you prescribe stimulants?

Yes. We provide specialized care for ADHD in all ages. Evaluation includes thorough assessment and review of history. Our board-certified providers can prescribe and monitor ADHD medications including stimulants when clinically indicated.

What ages do you treat?

We provide specialized care across the lifespan - kids, teens, adults, and seniors. We understand how mental health affects every stage of life.

What if I’m not sure what condition I have?

That’s okay - that’s our job. Many people come in feeling “off” but don’t know why. During your visit we’ll assess your symptoms and help you understand what’s going on. No labels needed to start healing.

Is my information confidential?

100% yes. Your privacy is protected by HIPAA law. We won’t share anything without your written permission, except in safety emergencies. You can speak freely here.

Will I be prescribed medication on the first visit?

Only if it’s clinically appropriate. We believe in evidence-based care, not automatic prescriptions. We’ll discuss risks, benefits, and alternatives together. Your input matters in the treatment plan.

How often will I need follow-up visits?

It depends on your needs. Most patients start with weekly to bi-weekly visits for medication management + support. As you stabilize, we space visits out. Our goal: get you to a happier, more peaceful life with less frequent visits.
